DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special night of live music\, fundraising for a once in a lifetime trip to Cape Town! \nSouth African music has been a staple at Bloco since 2001\, with songs like ‘Homecoming’ and ‘African Marketplace’ becoming KB classics over the years. In 2015\, we were introduced to Little Giants\, a Cape Town based grassroots music organisation who work with young people. This connection resulted in some of the Little Giants crew coming to London to perform at the Roundhouse with us. Inspired by the collaboration\, we’ve been looking for an opportunity to work together again\, so were really excited when they invited us to perform at Cape Town Carnival with them. \nThis fundraiser will get Bloco one step closer to getting a group of 30 of us out there! \nHeadlining the show\, Bloco’s steelpan section will be taking over the night for an exclusive performance celebrating Trinidad & Tobago’s annual steelpan competition\, Panorama. Expect to hear sweet melodies\, contagious grooves and rhythms that will make you dance! \nAlso performing Where’s Rei? and DJ Mys Souljah \nPrizes to be won at our auction and raffle. \nUnder 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
