DESCRIPTION:Following in the footsteps of such events as Law Rocks\, Expertise Rocks takes place at 93 Feet East\, Shoreditch. Bands formed of experts in their various fields will battle it out again in April\, demonstrating their excellence on the stage to a panel of illustrious judges\, and a sell-out audience. \nWe are delighted that the event will once again be raising money for us and all proceeds will go towards funding Junior Summer School! DESCRIPTION:We are running a drumming workshop with Sam Agard at the CMA Easter Course. Croydon Music and Arts will be hosting us on 11th April. The workshop is open for young people ages 11-18 and it will be a fun day of drumming. The course is organised by CMA so you need to register on their website. Cost for the day is £20 or £5 subsidised places.

The book is authored by one of our Bloco Mums. It celebrates the origin as the Roman city of Londinium through to its latest incarnation as a super-diverse World City in the twenty-first century\, London’s history and culture has been shaped by migration. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special night of live music\, fundraising for a once in a lifetime trip to Cape Town! \nSouth African music has been a staple at Bloco since 2001\, with songs like ‘Homecoming’ and ‘African Marketplace’ becoming KB classics over the years. In 2015\, we were introduced to Little Giants\, a Cape Town based grassroots music organisation who work with young people. This connection resulted in some of the Little Giants crew coming to London to perform at the Roundhouse with us. Inspired by the collaboration\, we’ve been looking for an opportunity to work together again\, so were really excited when they invited us to perform at Cape Town Carnival with them. \nThis fundraiser will get Bloco one step closer to getting a group of 30 of us out there! \nHeadlining the show\, Bloco’s steelpan section will be taking over the night for an exclusive performance celebrating Trinidad & Tobago’s annual steelpan competition\, Panorama. Expect to hear sweet melodies\, contagious grooves and rhythms that will make you dance! \nAlso performing Where’s Rei? and DJ Mys Souljah \nPrizes to be won at our auction and raffle. \nUnder 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
