Panyard Wednesdays - Weekly Steel Pan Sessions

We’re excited to launch a brand-new weekly session every Wednesday during school term time for anyone who wants to learn or improve their steel pan playing.

Open to all pan players aged 13 and up, these sessions are a chance to:

  • Develop your skills and technique

  • Learn new repertoire

  • Build a strong section together

The sessions will be led by the amazing Wade Austin, bringing his experience and energy to guide you on your pan journey.

    Every Wednesday (Term Time) from the 24th September 2025

Places are limited on this programme due to the number of pans we have. We will confirm your place once you have signed up. We are trying to develop our pan section so we expect young people to attend consistently.

Leadership Programme

Our Leadership Programme is a week long boot camp where we help young people develop general leadership skills which will help you throughout life, whether leading yourself or leading a big band! Come and join us for a week of sessions with industry professionals, inspirational role models and people who can help you develop yourself.

Following the week you will get further development sessions and practical work experience opportunities on some of our projects.

Tulse Hill Bloco After School club

Tulse Hill Bloco is an After School Club in Drumming, Brass/Woodwind and Steel Pans. Come and join us for some carnival inspired music, build your creative and performance skills and have fun!

    Thursday nights, back on 11th September!

    4:00-6:00pm

  • Venue:

    Jubilee Community Hall, Tulse Hill Estate, SW2 2LY

  • Ages:

    8-16 year olds

  • Cost:

Young people do not need any previous musical experience except in brass/woodwind where you need to know the notes and have an instrument to bring with you

Southbank Sessions

Join us at our Southbank Sessions every Friday for a creative and fun-filled experience! Our talented regular tutors and special guests will be exploring various music and dance styles.

    14-25 year olds (we will take young people who are in Year 9)

Volunteer with us

We have volunteer positions open at most of our activities. You can just come and volunteer with us for a couple of day or the whole summer! These are unpaid roles. Please read the volunteer roles below and apply for the position that most interests you.
