Wandsworth Bloco
Join our 3 day workshop to learn or improve your skills in drumming, steel pans or brass/woodwind for young people living or attending school in the Wandsworth Borough. Together we will learn some new tunes, have fun and create a performance for friends and family on Thursday 29th August at 3pm in the Sports hall of Caius House.

What’s in Store?
Bootcamp
- When: Monday 28th, to Thursday 31st October (10 am to 5:30 pm) and Friday 1st November (10 am to 6:30 pm)
- Where: Southbank Centre (Room details will be sent closer to the date)
Get ready for an intense and inspiring week packed with workshops, where you’ll start with introductions and dive straight into 3-4 workshops each day. You'll hear from incredible speakers and facilitators who are all about boosting your leadership confidence and sharing both practical and theory based skills.
Social Action and Employability Skills Sessions
- When: Fridays, November 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th (5:30 pm to 8:30 pm)
- Where: Southbank Centre
In these sessions, we’ll focus on expanding your leadership opportunities by giving you the tools to build a standout CV and a compelling personal statement for college, university, or job applications. You’ll also learn how to level up your workplace skills, discover your unique strengths, and explore ways to bring creativity to your community support efforts.
Graduation
- When: Friday 6th December (5:30 pm to 8:30 pm)
- Where: Southbank Centre

Tulse Hill Bloco After School club
Tulse Hill Bloco is an After School Club in Drumming, Brass/Woodwind and Steel Pans. Come and join us for some carnival inspired music, build your creative and performance skills and have fun!

Join us at our Southbank Sessions every Friday for a creative and fun-filled experience! Our talented regular tutors and special guests will be exploring various music and dance styles.

Foxy Fridays
2024 is the year we commemorate 10 years since Mat Fox transitioned from this earth. Following discussions from some of the alumni we've decided to celebrate his life with some exclusive sessions gathering together alumni who have been a part of the journey. It would be great to have as many of the old alumni there as possible so share the message on!

Each week we will take an old Bloco Banger and re-learn it again as a team. There will be drinks on sale and potentially an opportunity to perform the music and dance at the end of the sessions. All proceeds raised through drink sales will go to continuing the work of Kinetika Bloco.
You must be 25+ to take part in this project - therefore a full on alumni of Kinetika Bloco, not someone who still comes along!
Junior Summer School
This summer, we're celebrating 9 yrs of Junior Summer School! It'll be fun-filled with our usual Brass, Dance, Drums, and Steel Pans. Join the party this summer!
As of the 14th of July, Steel Pans section and it's waiting list are full. We will no longer be taking applications for the steel pan section. All other sections are open for more applicants.

For Brass / Woodwind you need to know the notes, we don't teach it from scratch. You also need to have access to the instrument so you can bring it with you!
Senior Summer School
Senior Summer School is our HUGE summer workshop where you can learn drumming, steel pans, brass/woodwind or dance. Join us for 2 weeks of creative learning, making friends, having fun and creating a show of the final night for friends and family.

Senior Summer School sees up to 150 young people come together and it is an exciting experience for all. Together we create a show which is on the 23rd August at 7pm and then you are invited to continue joining us throughout the year at all of our performances.
For Drumming and Dance you do not need any previous experience.
For Steel Pans you must have played a pan before in school, or a club.
For Brass / Woodwind this is any instrument you can walk with and you need to know the notes, we don't teach it from scratch. You also need to have access to the instrument so you can bring it with you!
Volunteer with us
We have volunteer positions open at most of our activities. You can just come and volunteer with us for a couple of day or the whole summer! These are unpaid roles. Please read the volunteer roles below and apply for the position that most interests you.
